Five on Friday | Girl’s Day

I started being really intentional about teaching Nora her colors this week. I didn’t think much about it until she started identifying things that were yellow here and there. I figured why not start working to teach her all the other ones! One of the things I miss the most about teaching is planning lessons and watching kiddos learn something that I taught them. Luckily, I can still do that with Nora!

*Let me know if you would be interested in knowing how I am going about this. Might make for a good blog post!

Nora got to live her dream of being a puppy for Halloween! I am not a huge Halloween fan, but there is not much cuter than a toddler dressed up as a precious puppy! Come back Monday to see home cute snapshots of Nora as a pink poodle!

I shared on my Instagram Stories about this lipstick and how much I am loving it! I got a ton of responses about it which really surprised me! I love being able to point people to a really good product, because I have found so many great things when others share! I may start a little blog post in the future about products I’m loving.

Nora and I had a girls’ day on Thursday! We started off by going to Target for a few things, but first I got a White Peppermint Mocha, and Nora got a cake pop! We love trips to Target, and they are fairly frequent (maybe too frequent since Nora gets so excited when she just sees that red bullseye).

After browsing at Target we headed to the local Children’s Museum for an hour of play! It’s a great option for the cold months or rainy days. Sadly ours is a little pricy, but going every once in a while it isn’t too bad! After playing, we picked up burgers and met daddy at the church for lunch! Such a fun little day!

You should totally write a big post about what/how you’re teaching her colors! While I am a teacher I still love to see and read about how other teachers are doing things!

I would love to know more about how you’re teaching colors! I’m planning to homeschool for preschool, and I’ve already started doing some little age appropriate lessons with my little one, so I would love to know more about how you’re doing things!
