Been feeling a little more “bloggy” lately. I even have a post scheduled for Monday! Today, I wanted to share some highlights from this week. Fall totally faked us our and gave Southeast Missouri some mid seventies temps, but now we’re back to the high eighties this coming week.
Boo! But, you’ll notice a little of my fall-loving heart coming through in this week’s highlights.
Monday, I was that girl. It was 72 degrees outside, and I could smell fall. I put on a chambray, maroon skinnies, and booties. Headed to the nearest Starbucks and got a Pumpkin Spice Latte. I know, I know. So #basic, but I can’t help myself! They are so good!
I have really been trying to change the way I cook lately. I have always loved to cook, but stink at putting a while meal together. I always put all my focus on the main dish, then at the last minute throw together one lame side. One of my favorite people to follow on Instaram, Wander and Scout, kicks dinner’s booty! She inspired me to step up my game, and I think my husband is really happy. 😉
I bought this ten dollar doll for Nora months ago. I thought she would just love it, but she could’ve cared less. Until recently. She plays with Bitty everyday now, and it melts my momma heart! We went for donuts and to the park and she wouldn’t let Bitty out of her sight! I think this new obsession came at just the right time! Big sister practice makes perfect!
I’ve been attempting to declutter our house a bit. I am wanting to go for more of the clean-cut, “minimalist” look. Nora is in full-on tornado mode these days, and I hate having a messy, cluttered house. She likes to take things and just scatter them anywhere but where they belong. So, in my mind, the less things I have for her to scatter, the less mess! I blog a little more about this later, I am currently revamping out living room and can’t wait to share!
Well, the bump is officially out! I’ve heard that it happens much faster after you’ve already had one. My doctor also pointed out that technically this is my third pregnancy, so it’s no wonder this baby is already showin’! I have decided to embrace it, since I can’t really hide it any longer. I basically went straight to maternity clothes this time because now I know how comfy those pants with the band-to-your-boobs really are! Keep growin’ baby Cashew!
