I am not a drinker. Never have been. Beer tastes bad, wine tastes bad and don’t even get me started on hard liquor. Ew!
If I ever drink (maybe 5 times a year) I enjoy cocktails and my go-to was always an Amoretto Sour or a very fruity Sangria. Well, on a fancy date night for our anniversary this summer I discovered the treat that is a Moscow Mule. I love ginger and mules have a delicious ginger taste. Normally, a Moscow Mule includes vodka, but I found a way to take that out and now I can have one whenever I want and not feel guilty!
Plus, I love drinking our of the copper mug!
| What You Need |
1/2 can (1/2 cup) Ginger Beer (not really beer – non-alcoholic)
3 tbsp Club Soda or Sprite
1/2 lime’s juice
| What You Do |
Fill a copper mug 3/4 full of crushed ice. Pour all ingredients on top of ice and mix well. If you want a true Moscow Mule, replace club soda with vodka.
That’s it! Enjoy!
