My absolute favorite drink at Starbucks (and yes, I like it even more than the Pumpkin Spice Latte) is their White Chocolate Mocha! Strong coffee paired with rich, white chocolate flavor is my jam! Gonna be honest though, Starbucks is NOT in the budget. Plus, we live 30 minutes away from the nearest one.
So, I set out to create my own! I posted this recipe years ago, but I have since perfected it! Very simple to make and really doesn’t take longer than 5-10 minutes!
Sip away people, life is good!
| What You Need |
1/3 mug of strong-brew coffee (I brew bold coffee in my Keurig on the smallest setting)
1/2 cup of milk
1/4 cup of white chocolate chips.
| What You Do |
Brew your coffee and make sure it’s strong! You need enough to fill 1/3 of your mug.
In a double boiler (I use a glass bowl, nestled inside of a small pot of boiling water) place the milk and white chocolate chips.
Heat milk and chocolate chips until your chocolate chips are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
Pour the mixture in with your hot coffee. Top with whipped cream and a little cinnamon.
